W.E Hill & Sons ENGLAND- Frank Napier- Third son of William Napier who also worked for Hills, Frank joined the workshops in 1904. He developed many of the mechanical bow making innovations used at Hills. The position of workshop manager passed him by so he left in 1930 to start his own music shop in Wadebridge, Cornwall.

His bows are for Hill are stamped with a pattern of three leaves

Most bows appeal to a musician at a very personal level. This is an excellent all around cello bow. Although light, the balance is wonderful and it has a lively bounce with excellent articulation. The stick is very flexible yet strong and it draws a fine tone.

The round chocolate colored pernabuco stick is fitted with a silver & ebony frog decorated with a Parisian eye.The adjuster and facing on tip are silver.
